River Market District in Little Rock

The River Market District is a shopping, entertainment, and dining hub in Downtown Little Rock. You can eat at a great restaurant, take a walk through the park, visit a local art gallery, or attend an exciting event! The Little Rock Farmers’ Market is open during the summer and a great way to get connected to local businesses. Year around, there is always something happening in the River Market District! 

You can also catch a ride on the Metro Streetcar, a replica trolley system that serves Little Rock and North Little Rock for convenient transportation around town. Dickey–Stephens Park in Little Rock, AR

Dickey–Stephens Park is a baseball stadium in North Little Rock that opened to the public in the summer of 2007. It is home of the Arkansas Travelers Baseball Team, a Double-A farm team for the Seattle Mariners. The Arkansas Travelers (called the Travs by locals) have played in Little Rock since 1963 and serves an exciting part of the town’s history. 

Attending a baseball game on a sunny afternoon is a great way to escape from the frantic pace of modern life and relax. The ballpark can hold 7,200 people on games days. The baseball park is named after two pairs of local Arkansas brothers: Bill and George Dickey and Jackson and Witt Stephens

Julius Breckling Riverfront Park in Little Rock, AR

Julius Breckling Riverfront Park is a large 33-acre city park on the bank of the Arkansas River. There’s a vast variety of outdoor activities available at Riverfront Park for everyone to enjoy. The park holds La Petite Roche, which is what the city of Little Rock is named after. 

Riverfront Park has plenty of attractions including Junction Bridge, First Security Amphitheater, Peabody Park, and Vogel Schwartz Sculpture Garden. Visitors can walk, play fetch with pets, learn history, enjoy art, or just relax in the shade on a summer afternoon.
